Nicolás Megias

Nicolás Megias has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Nicolás is currently the Co-Founder and COO of Yumminn, a digital solution that improves restaurant efficiency and customer experience. Previously, they co-founded and served as the COO of Consultoria Moderna, where they focused on innovation for hospitality businesses. Nicolás also worked as the Operations Director and Strategic Projects Lead at sunday, where they were responsible for strategy definition and building scalable processes. Prior to that, they were a Senior Consultant at Yoello and the Director of Operations at YourMenu. In addition, Nicolás has held leadership positions such as the Director of Food and Beverage and Hotel Manager at Casa Gracia Barcelona, and the Food and Beverage Operations Manager at Café del Mar Group. Nicolás also has experience in international operations as the Restaurant Operations Director at PJ Clarke's. Earlier in their career, Nicolás worked as a Restaurant Manager at Zaza Bistro and as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Hotel, Tourism, and Gastronomy Association. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong skills in operations, strategic planning, and building relationships with key industry players.

Nicolás Megias completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communication and Media from Instituto San Pedro Nolasco from 2001 to 2005. Nicolás then pursued a degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Universidad de Palermo, attending from 2007 to 2011. In 2019, Nicolás enrolled in Udima Universidad a Distancia de Madrid to complete a Master's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management, which they finished in 2020. In addition to their formal education, Nicolás also obtained several certifications, including Chinese Tourism from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2019), C1 Français from Alliance Française de España (2018), and Food Manipulating and Processing from AESAN.
