Jeannie Duncan

Jeannie Duncan is an experienced professional in grants and contracts compliance, currently serving as the Grants/Contracts Compliance Officer for the Yurok Tribe, overseeing regulatory affairs related to various funding sources. Previous roles include Subgrants Analyst for Internews Network, Legal Business Manager for the Office of the District Attorney in Humboldt County, and nearly two decades with the US Forest Service where Jeannie held multiple positions including Budget Analyst and Management Analyst. With extensive experience in budget formulation, execution, and strategic planning, Jeannie also trained as a Type I Incident Management Team member, taking on leadership roles in finance and cost management during disaster responses. Jeannie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Accounting from Humboldt State University and graduated from Eureka High School in 1983.
