Andrew Salonen currently serves as the Manager of Customer Success at Yurts, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Andrew spent over two years at Dataminr as a Customer Success Manager for the Department of Defense, where responsibilities included leading a team to enhance product adoption and conducting executive training on the Artificial Intelligence SaaS solution, First Alert. Andrew's extensive background in special operations began with the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, where leadership of instructor teams and the development of a modernized curriculum were key focuses. Previous military experience includes significant roles within the Naval Special Warfare - U.S. Navy SEAL Teams, culminating in leadership of specialized teams for overseas operations. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security from Excelsior University and an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix.
