Curtis Detrich is the VP of Operations and Client Services at Z5 Inventory. Curtis has over 14 years of experience in corporate operations and project management. Curtis joined Curtis'sco, Inc. in 2006 and has held a variety of positions since then. In 2018, they became the Corporate Operations Manager, where they were tasked with executing full-scale leadership of a wide-range of project management and process improvement strategies.
In this role, they also worked toward coordinating inventory control processes that reduce costs and enhance productivity, company-wide. Curtis's team recognized him for enhancing relationships with customers and third-party vendors that helped grow business development. Moreover, they orchestrated detailed operational plans with a focus on reporting key performance indicators working in conjunction with finance and accounting teams.
Some of their core achievements include spearheading a multitude of Kaizen process improvement projects to improve outcomes for critical lines of business, building top-performing teams, and reducing workload after transitioning large customer accounts to a more streamlined process.
Curtis Detrich began their educational career at Westwood High School. Curtis then went on to Texas State University, where they studied military history and business. After graduation, they received certification from the Management and Strategy Institute in Six Sigma Lean Black Belt Professional and from APICS in Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). Curtis also received certification from the Management and Strategy Institute in Certified Continuous Improvement Manager (CCIM) and from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional (PMP).
