What will you do?

  • Governance and Compliance Management
  • Manage and support the Zafin Governance and Compliance Management program; implement innovative and automated solutions to strengthen the existing compliance operations.
  • Able to interpret the requirements from the contract.
  • Ensure all SaaS contractual client commitments are met.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to improve compliance standards in collaboration with other business units.
  • Responsible for updating, monitoring, and assessing business areas adherence to compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure information is communicated, centrally located and accessible to business leads.
  • Creation of ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for Senior Management
  • Ability to present the governance review status to Senior Leadership Team in meetings.

What do I need to succeed?

  • 3-5 years of experience in a compliance, or governance role, preferably in a financial services organization.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud security is an asset.
  • University degree in computer science, business administration, law, finance or similar.
  • Hands on experience managing contracts and reporting on contractual compliance.
  • Knowledge of GRC frameworks
  • Experience with a broad set of information security best practices and technologies (e.g. application security, risk management, data protection, encryption, identity and access management, logging and monitoring, network security, security governance, etc.) within cloud environments will be an asset.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to monitor and analyze compliance requirements and relate them to business processes, regulatory risks, and compliance controls.
  • Strong organizational skills, an ability to manage assignments with competing priorities, and manage deadlines
  • Attention to detail, computer literacy (knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, SharePoint, and similar tools)
  • Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, Powerbi is an asset

Nice to have:

  • Ability to interact, persuade and influence a broad spectrum of leads/ managers at all levels, including senior management.
  • Proactively promote a culture of compliance and build and maintain relationships with business groups
  • Ability to self-start and work independently while demonstrating sound judgment, practical and creative problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple initiatives and prioritize work to meet deadlines and fulfill the demands of a rapidly changing environment.
