What will you do?

  • Work closely with product and delivery teams to develop solutions using determined stack on Zafin's SaaS platform
  • Strong ability to articulate key functional and technical capabilities of SaaS solution 
  • Work with team members and leads to perform fit-gap analysis exercise to assess business requirements and align them with out of the box capabilities and work closely with cross-functional teams to determine action plan to address gaps
  • Execute on user stories and backlog items, and prepare specifications utilizing agile methodology
  • Prepare key implementation deliverables technical documentation/ specification while supporting code reviews / pull requests and containerized deployment
  • Organize and execute unit and integration tests within and across functional areas

Mode of Work: Hybrid

Minimum Requirements

  • 2-5 years of professional experience writing high quality production level code or software programs
  • Has experience operating or enabling large-scale, high-availability data pipelines from design, to execution and safe change management. Expertise in Apache Flink, Apache Nifi, Kafka/Redpanda, Java, SQL, and API design is a plus.
  • Has experience developing, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems built with open source tools
  • Good foundational knowledge on Containerization – Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies and Cloud (Azure is preferred)
  • Has strong collaboration and communication skills, and can comfortably interact with both technical and non-technical participants.
  • Has the curiosity to continuously learn about new technologies and business processes.
  • Is energized by delivering effective, user-first solutions through creative problem-solving and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Has experience writing production-level code with Expertise in Flink, Nifi, Airflow, Java, Spring Boot and SQL is a plus.
  • Experience packaging and deploying code into cloud-based environments (Azure) with tools including Kustomize/Helm, Docker Containers, etc
  • Has experience designing APIs or building developer platforms
  • Has experience optimizing the end to end performance of distributed systems
  • Has experience with scaling distributed systems in a rapidly moving environment
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent field and interest in data
  • Has experience working with data pipelines
