Johny Perapras

Johny Perapras is an Associate Director of Database Operations at Zafin, possessing over 30 years of experience in mission-critical production systems within real-time environments. Specializing in database tuning for Very Large Databases (VLDB) across platforms such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MS SQL Server, Johny has extensive expertise in the design, implementation, and support of databases for financial and banking services. Prior roles include multiple Oracle Database Administrator positions at Citi, as well as database administration positions at Hewlett-Packard, Datacraft, SingTel, and systems analysis at ICL Fujitsu. Johny is currently pursuing executive education and professional development at prestigious institutions such as London Business School and Yale University, complementing a Master of Technology in Knowledge Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
