Neil Bhola

Neil Bhola has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. Neil is currently working at Zai Lab as a Senior Principal Scientist since October 2022, after holding the position of Principal Scientist from March 2021 to September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at IDEAYA Biosciences as a Principal Scientist from July 2020 to March 2021 and as a Senior Scientist from March 2019 to July 2020. Neil Bhola has also worked at the University of California, San Francisco as an Adjunct Assistant Professor from February 2018 to February 2019 and as a Professional Researcher from November 2015 to January 2018. Before that, they were a Post-doctoral Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from September 2009 to October 2015. Neil Bhola began their career as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh from August 2004 to August 2009 and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Florida Institute of Technology from September 2002 to May 2003.

Neil Bhola obtained a BSc in Molecular Biology from the Florida Institute of Technology, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Neil then pursued a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their degrees, Neil has obtained various certifications, including a Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2016, and several online certificates in areas such as drug discovery, systems biology, and statistics.
