Mordi al-Rashed

Mordi Al-Rashed has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Core Network Senior Manager at Zain Group since April 2005. Mordi began the career at Zain Kuwait as a Packet Core Engineer, contributing to the launch of GPRS/EDGE and progressing to key roles during the introduction of HSPA. Prior to Zain, Mordi worked as a Software Engineer at Sharp Electronics, addressing LLC and SNDCP issues within the STE protocol stack and collaborating with network operators like Vodafone. Mordi's career commenced at Matsushita Mobile Communication Development of Europe Ltd (Panasonic) as a Design Engineer, focusing on projects within the GSM/GPRS Protocol stack across the complete design cycle. Mordi holds a BEng (Hons) in Electronic and Communications Engineering, specializing in Telecommunications Engineering from UCL, completed in 2001.
