Shabeeb Hasnain

Shabeeb Hasnain's work experience begins with an internship at MCB Bank Limited in 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Auditor at Deloitte, where they documented systems, policies, and procedures and conducted control and substantive testing.

In 2012, Shabeeb became a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, focusing on strategic audit planning, reviewing controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. In 2014, they were promoted to Assistant Manager at Deloitte, where they continued to establish risk-based audit plans and review policies and procedures.

From 2015 to 2017, Shabeeb joined Mashreq Bank as an Assistant Manager for Financial Reporting & Group Consolidation, managing financial control functions and overseeing financial reporting according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Shabeeb also held the position of Accounts Officer for Regulatory Reporting at Mashreq Bank, preparing and submitting regulatory returns and monitoring their efficiency.

In 2019, Shabeeb joined Zand, the first digital bank in the world, as a Manager Finance, where they contributed to the launch of the bank's retail and corporate banking services.

Shabeeb Hasnain's education history is as follows:

From 1994 to 2003, Shabeeb attended Hamdard Public School and obtained their Matriculation degree in Science.

In 2004 and 2005, Shabeeb studied at Hamdard College of Science and Commerce, where they completed their Intermediate degree in Pre-Engineering.

Starting in 2006, Shabeeb pursued their accounting and finance education. Shabeeb enrolled in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and became a Professional Accounting Affiliate. Shabeeb also studied at the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan, earning a CA degree in Accounting and Auditing, which they completed in 2019.

During the same period, from 2006 to 2007, Shabeeb attended Karachi University and obtained a B.Com degree in Accounting and Finance.

In 2008 and 2009, they returned to Karachi University and completed their M.A degree in Economics.

Additionally, in October 2016, Shabeeb obtained a certification as a Professional Accounting Affiliate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
