Alex Maslowski, PhD

Alex Maslowski, PhD has a long and varied work experience. From 2001 to 2002, they were a Summer Intern at Entergy. From 2002 to 2004, they were a Summer Intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 2006, they were a Summer Intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory again. In 2007, they were a Fellowship Practicum at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and a Summer Intern at Commissariat à l'énergie atomique. From 2008 to 2014, they were a Senior Software Developer at Transpire, Inc., which was acquired by Varian for $20M. At Varian, they were a Senior Manager from 2014 to 2022, where they proposed a vision, set a strategic roadmap and identified core competencies to design, construct and validate technology solutions in the next generation of products. Alex was also a Manager in the Radiation Transport Algorithms Team and a Senior Software Developer in the Radiation Transport Algorithms Team. In 2022, they became the Vice President Software at ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc. and the Principal AI Scientist at Arthrex.

Alex Maslowski, PhD obtained their Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2008. Alex completed their B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the same university in 2003. Alex is currently a candidate for a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, with a focus on Healthcare Management.
