Cece Cao

Cece Cao has held various positions in the Quality Assurance field since 2006. Cece began their career at Sadra Medical as a Quality Engineer, where they conducted research on valve biocompatibility and valve implant to catheter. In 2007, they moved to Hantel Technologies, Inc. as a Quality Engineer, where they conducted internal audits, performed installation/operation qualification, functional, and validation tests for existing equipment and products, and performed incoming/receiving inspection of raw materials, in-process and final inspection of manufacturing assemblies, product labeling, and finished products. In 2011, they joined OptiMedica as a Quality Engineer, where they were responsible for the Liquid Optics Interface project, conducted supplier qualifications and audits, and developed and implemented a Change Control Board meeting to improve ECO review and approval processes. In 2013, they moved to Abbott as a QA Program Engineer, and in 2016, they joined Benvenue Medical as a Quality Assurance Manager and Sr. QA Engineer. In 2020, they joined ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Manager.

Cece Cao graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering.
