Micah Lapping-Carr

Micah Lapping-Carr is a seasoned professional in quality assurance and software development, currently holding the position of Quality Assurance Manager and Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Zappos Family of Companies since June 2017, where responsibilities involve testing and quality assessment for the online retail platform. Additionally, Micah serves as CEO of Prehistoric Software, a venture focused on developing small games. Previous experience includes roles as a Software Engineer at Bellwether Technologies, Game Programmer at Petroglyph Games, and Software Development Engineer in Test 2 at Microsoft, where contributions ranged from writing code and tests to enhancing automation for gaming technologies. Micah began the career as a Research Assistant in the Robotics Lab at Brown University and also gained experience as a Production Intern at Electronic Arts Los Angeles. Micah earned a Sc.B. in Math and Computer Science from Brown University from 2005 to 2009.
