Nigel Storey has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Nigel is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Zappos Family of Companies since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon as the Head of Softlines Discovery & Evaluation/Core CX for Amazon Fashion from 2021 to 2022. At Johnson & Johnson, they held multiple positions including Vice President Supply Chain Technology, Head of Operations from 2019 to 2021, Senior Director, Chief Operating Officer of J&J Design Studio from 2016 to 2019, and IT Director - Commercial Application Delivery from 2015 to 2016. Before joining Johnson & Johnson, they worked as a Senior Analyst - Solutions Architect at Ethicon, Inc. from 2004 to 2006. Nigel also worked at Columbia University as a User Services Consultant from 2001 to 2002, at Mindtrio as a Consultant from 1998 to 2002, at AOL as a Web Developer in 2001, and at Rutgers University as a Programmer from 2000 to 2001. Nigel has a strong background in technology, operations, supply chain, and leadership.
Nigel Storey has a diverse education history. Nigel obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University between 1998 and 2001. Nigel then pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance & Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business from 2008 to 2011.
In addition to their formal education, Nigel has also obtained several certifications. Nigel became an ITIL Certified professional in Service Strategy in August 2016. In August 2011, they obtained certification as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance. In 2005, Nigel achieved a Green Belt in Six Sigma from Johnson & Johnson. Nigel also became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in 2006.
