Jiri Zajic

Jiri Zajic began their work experience at Moravia IT in 2006 as a Junior Testing Engineer. Jiri then worked at Calyx as an External Web Developer from 2007 to 2013. In 2010, they joined Honeywell as a Helpdesk Specialist for a brief period. Jiri also co-founded and served as a Director at Flipcom from 2010 to 2019. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at Honeywell until 2014. Jiri joined GoodData in 2015 and served in various roles, including UI Developer, Senior SW Engineer, and Senior Developer Advocate until 2023, when they became the Principal Developer Advocate. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering - Front-end Development at Zartico, where they have been working since 2023.

Jiri Zajic obtained their Bachelor of Information Technology (Bc.) degree from Brno University of Technology in the years 2007 to 2011. Jiri then pursued their Master of Information Technology (Ing.) degree specializing in Management and Information Technologies from the same university during 2011 to 2013. Later, in 2013, Jiri Zajic enrolled in Brno University of Technology for their Doctor of Information Technology (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering, which they completed in 2017. Additionally, they spent a year from 2014 to 2015 studying for a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science at Zhejiang University.
