Eric Cox

Eric Cox currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Zealand Pharma, starting in August 2024, where responsibilities include shaping and executing commercial and business development strategies. Prior to this, Eric held the position of Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Business Development at Carmot Therapeutics, Inc., part of the Roche Group, from May 2023 to August 2024. Between August 2020 and June 2023, Eric was the Commercial Franchise Leader for Diabetes, Heart Failure, and Chronic Kidney Disease at AstraZeneca, overseeing P&L for the Farxiga product line. Eric's extensive experience also includes significant roles at Merck, Bayer, Johnson & Johnson, and TAP Pharmaceuticals, with a focus on marketing and business strategy in the healthcare sector. Eric holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Missouri State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Corporate Communications from The University of Kansas.
