Matthew Lindon has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Matthew has held various leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, they serve as the VP of R&D Strategy & External Innovation at Zealand Pharma. Prior to this, they worked at LIDDS as the Interim CEO and later as the Chief Scientific Officer, responsible for leading the company's research and development activities.

Before joining LIDDS, Matthew held the position of Senior Global Project Leader at AstraZeneca, where they led a portfolio of drug discovery and development projects in the Respiratory & Immunology therapy area.

Matthew has also worked at GSK in several roles, including Senior Director and Director in the Early Development department, Director of Medicinal Chemistry & Project Leader, and Manager of Medicinal Chemistry & Program Leader. Earlier in their career, they worked at Merck Sharp & Dohme as a Research Chemist and at Rhone-Poulenc Agriculture as a Graduate Chemist.

Matthew Lindon completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Hons. degree in Chemistry at the University of Leicester from 1991 to 1994.
