Yannis Sfakianakis

Yannis Sfakianakis is a Senior Software Engineer at ZEDEDA since May 2022, focusing on developing features for EVE-OS. Previously, Yannis held various positions including a PhD Candidate at ICS-FORTH, specializing in cloud resource management and optimization algorithms from September 2011 to June 2023, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Sunlight.io, where cloud services and backend server development were key responsibilities from March 2020 to April 2022. Additional experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at IBM Ireland Lab, applying deep learning in the cloud, and as a Programmer at Estros.gr, engaging in software and web development. Yannis holds a PhD in Information Technology from the University of Crete, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
