Shlomi Bennon has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Shlomi began their career in 1995 with the Israeli Air Force, where they held various command positions in the operational technological and training system. During their time there, they played a key role in planning standardization processes and constructing capacity to increase technological manpower, as well as establishing a mechanism for recruiting engineers to officer positions. Shlomi also had responsibility for the usability and availability of operational systems.
Moving forward, Shlomi joined The Max Stern Yezreel Valley College in 2014 as the Director of the Pre-Academic Center. In this role, they managed the center with approximately 1000 students across various study tracks. Shlomi also oversaw an independent profit unit and worked closely with government ministries, associations, and private organizations. Additionally, they led and implemented national projects to promote the periphery.
Currently, Shlomi is serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Zefat Academic College, a position they assumed in 2019.
Shlomi Bennon has a Master of Arts degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Bar-Ilan University. Shlomi also has a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from the University of Haifa. Additionally, they obtained a Practical Engineer degree in Instrumentation and Control from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology - Basmat School.
