Luca Onesto

Head of Software Development at Zehus

Luca Onesto has a diverse work experience. Luca began their career in 2008 as an R&D Engineer (Research Project) at TTControl. Luca then worked at L'INGLESINA BABY S.p.A. and Hayes Performance Systems in 2016 as an R&D Engineer (Research Project). In the same year, they also became a Ph.D. Fellow at Politecnico di Milano, where they conducted research on Advanced Driver Assistance System for Off-Highway Vehicles. In 2017, they worked as an R&D Engineer (Research Project) at SDF. In 2018, they worked as an R&D Engineer (Research Project) at PRINOTH. In 2019, they worked as an Automotive Controls Engineer at Maserati, and also as a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, they are the Head of Software Development at Zehus S.p.A.

Luca Onesto has obtained a variety of educational qualifications throughout their life. Luca completed a Diploma di Maturità Scientifica from Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei in 2010, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Automation and Control Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2013. From 2015 to 2016, they obtained a Qualifier exam to practice the profession of engineering from Politecnico di Milano, and a ATHENS Course: "Electric Vehicles: The bigger picture" from KU Leuven. In 2016, Luca Onesto completed their Master's degree in Automation and Control Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and in 2020, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Information Technology from the same institution. Additionally, Luca Onesto has obtained four certifications from Coursera: Using Databases with Python, Using Python to Access Web Data, Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), and Python Data Structures.
