Gini Chukura

Gini Chukura has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Gini started their career at FINRA, where they held roles as a Senior Examiner, Senior Analyst in Market Regulation, and Senior Analyst in Registration and Disclosure from 2007 to 2013. Gini then joined EY as an Advisory Senior in Financial Services Risk Management and later became an Advisory Manager in Regulatory Compliance Practice. In 2015, they moved to MUFG as a Vice President in Banking and Capital Markets Compliance before joining BlackRock in 2017. At BlackRock, they held the positions of Vice President in Financial Markets Advisory and Vice President in BlackRock Solutions. In 2021, they joined Chime as the Director of Corporate Compliance and currently holds the role of VP of Payments Compliance & Risk at Zelis since 2023.

Gini Chukura is currently pursuing a degree at the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and Wharton Executive Education, with an expected completion year of 2024. Gini holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in International Business from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. Prior to their university studies, they attended Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. In addition to their formal education, Gini Chukura has also obtained certifications as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMLS) from ACAMS and as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) from the American Bankers Association.
