Daniel Lee

Staff Data Scientist at Zelus Analytics

Daniel Lee has a diverse work experience, starting their career as a Software Engineer at Anzus in 2005 and then moving on to Datapath before founding Generable in 2016, where they served as the CTO and developed statistical models to improve clinical trial success rates. Daniel has also worked as an Adjunct Data Scientist at OnCorps, President of Hutchinson Lee, Incorporated, and Research Statistician at Columbia University where they developed a multilevel regression and poststratification package. In 2022, Daniel collaborated with Bayesian Ops as an advisor and Warner Music Group as a Director in Residence focused on modeling and forecasting the number of streams a track will have across different DSPs. In 2023, they are scheduled to start as the Staff Data Scientist at Zelus Analytics.

Daniel Lee attended the Jisan Research Institute from 1997 to 2000. From 2000 to 2005, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with Computer Science (18C) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2008 to 2009, they pursued a Part III degree in Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Cambridge.
