Eric Chong

Eric Chong has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Eric is currently the Director of Quality and Compliance at ZE PowerGroup, where they oversee IT security, process improvement, and compliance with GDPR and SOC 1 Type 2 attestation. Prior to this role, Eric served as the Manager of Compliance and Quality at ZE PowerGroup, leading the adoption of ITIL framework and implementing ITIL-based service management software. Eric was also the Project Manager II at ZE PowerGroup and played a critical role in various projects. Before joining ZE PowerGroup, Eric held several management positions. Eric was the Software Development Manager at Symmetrics, where they contributed to the development of software solutions. At MDX Medical, Eric worked as a Senior Project Manager and successfully led a team in obtaining FDA and EU approvals for a medical device. Eric also established development and QA processes for the product development team. As the Director of Research and Development at Selkirk Financial Technologies, Eric managed a large R&D department, set the product strategy, and worked closely with senior team members. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Product Development at NCompass Labs, leading a multi-disciplinary team for a major release. Eric's earlier experience includes roles such as Director of Radio Group Automation at Digital Courier International and Technical Team Leader at MPR Teltech. Eric has a strong track record of managing development projects and implementing innovative solutions. With their background in software engineering, Eric has demonstrated leadership and expertise in various domains, including automation tools, medical technology, and telecommunications.

Eric Chong completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo between 1982 and 1987.
