Michael Tsegaye

Mr. Michael joined Zemen Bank’s Marketing team in 2012 as a Business Development officer. Prior to Zemen, Michael’s career started at a Private Website Development company as a sales associate where he managed key customer accounts and sales activities. Michael then briefly moved to join Ethiopian Airlines after successfully graduating from the Aviation Academy (School of Marketing) and being assigned as an Agent at the Bole International Airport. Michael has worked at different capacities within Zemen Bank including as a senior officer, Division Manager for Promotion and Public Relations and Fund manager. At his latest placement as a Fund Manager, he led a program designed at stimulating private equity investment into Ethiopian Private Sector and in his capacity as the Director for Corporate & Institutional Banking, Michael oversees portfolio of clients having sizable transaction with the Bank. Michael is a graduate of Business Management from Mekelle University and is currently a finalist conducting thesis for an MSC in Finance and Investment. Michael’s strength in strategy development/execution, people management, relationship management and portfolio management is an asset to the Bank. He is passionate about adding value to Customers and enjoys interaction with Customers.
