Bill Peters

Bill Peters has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and industries. In 2012, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at IMMOFINANZ Group, where they were responsible for supporting and upgrading network devices across eight countries. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Infrastructure Projects Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. In 2016, they joined Getronics as a Technical Consultant and Network & Security Engineer, where they worked on projects involving Cisco ISE implementation and firewall management. In 2018, they worked briefly as a Senior Network Engineer at SD Worx before joining ZIB Training GmbH as a student of German Language. In 2019, they continued their language studies as a student at Gateshead College. In 2022, they completed a Level 4 skills bootcamp in Data Engineering and Analytical Tools at Gateshead College and worked as an Applicator at AIS, though their time there was cut short due to an accident. Currently, they are working as a Core Network Engineer at Zen Internet.

Bill Peters attended North Tyneside College of Further Education, where they studied O.N.C. Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their college education, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Certified AlgoSec Security User in FireFlow and Firewall Analyzer from AlgoSec Academy Training & Certifications in February 2018. Bill also holds certifications from Cisco, including Cisco CCNP Security Implementing Secure Access Solutions (SISAS) in April 2015 and Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice (CCNA) in April 2012. Furthermore, they have certifications in CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNA Security, CWNA, INFOSEC 4011 Recognition by the US Government NSA and CNSS, ITIL v3 Foundation, and Juniper JNCIA (M & T Series), all obtained in 2010.
