Brad Hunt has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Brad began their career at Zen Internet Limited in 2007, where they initially worked in customer services, providing support and resolving issues related to DSL orders. Brad later transitioned to the role of a Technical Support Consultant, expanding their knowledge in networking, hosting, and DSL. Additionally, they served as a Service Assurance Engineer, part of the Central Monitoring Team that ensured the smooth operation of Zen's core services.

In 2012, Brad joined Farrel Limited as a Computer Support Technician, where they were responsible for maintaining and upgrading the network infrastructure. Brad implemented improvements such as the deployment of managed switches for better control and security. Brad also gained experience in server management, including Active Directory and regular backups.

Subsequently, Brad joined Gibtelecom in 2013 as an IP Network Support Technician. In this role, they worked on configuring and installing public WiFi sites and upgrading existing sites using Cisco Wireless Lan Controllers and Access Points. Additionally, they configured and installed Cisco routers and switches, working with various routing protocols.

Brad returned to Zen Internet in 2015 and took on roles of increasing responsibility. As a Core Network Engineer, they played a crucial role in building and maintaining Zen's multi-vendor core infrastructure and UK-wide carrier Ethernet network. Brad successfully completed a project to increase Zen Internet's exchange footprint. Brad provisioned customer network connections, including Leased Lines with DSL backup, IPVPN, and data center co-location. Finally, they advanced to the position of Senior Network Engineer and currently serves as the Network Engineering Team Leader at Zen Internet.

Brad Hunt attended Wardle High School from 1997 to 2001. Brad did not obtain a degree or pursue any specific field of study during this time. In terms of additional certifications, Brad obtained the CCNA Service Provider Operations certification from Cisco in June 2014, the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in April 2014, and the CCENT certification from Cisco in October 2012. Most recently, in January 2022, Brad earned a Level 3 Leadership & Management Diploma from ILM.
