Michael Wlach has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Michael started their career as an IT Technician at Manchester Metropolitan University, where they provided comprehensive support to staff and students. Michael then worked as a Systems Administrator at Elcometer Instruments Ltd, managing the company's IT systems and providing technical support.

Afterwards, Michael joined AA Projects Ltd as a Systems Administrator, where they managed the company's network operations and provided remote support to regional offices. Michael then worked as an IT Consultant at the Manchester Metropolitan University, assisting in network infrastructure upgrades and PC hardware deployments.

Michael's career then led him to Bureau Veritas, where they worked as an IT Consultant, coordinating the software and hardware refreshes of 400 home users' PCs and implementing a new online system. Michael then returned to the Manchester Metropolitan University as an IT Consultant, providing maintenance services during outsourcing contract negotiations.

Following this, Michael joined Zen Internet Limited, working initially as a Technical Support Consultant and later as a Desktop Support Engineer. In these roles, they handled customer calls and emails, diagnosed and resolved customer issues, managed Active Directory infrastructure, and provided 1st/2nd Line support to over 450 users.

Most recently, Michael started their own business, Michael Wlach Photography, where they serve as the owner.

Throughout their career, Michael has earned several certifications, including MCSA, MCP, and MCSE.

Michael Wlach obtained a BTEC OND in Electronics & Communications Engineering from North Trafford College of Further Education in the years 1983 to 1985. Michael further pursued their education at Manchester College of Arts & Technology, where they earned a BTEC HNC in Electronics Engineering from 1986 to 1988. In 2010 to 2011, they attended Oldham Life Long Learning and completed a City & Guilds degree in 7303 PTLLS.

In terms of certifications, Michael Wlach obtained the following qualifications: MCSA: Windows Server 2012 from Microsoft in July 2016, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in April 2015, MCSE1: Windows NT 4.0 from Microsoft in November 2000, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in May 1999.
