David Scharf

David Scharf has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. David is currently the Director of Finance at ZenBusiness, starting in 2023. Prior to this, from 2022 to 2023, they worked as the Director of Strategic Finance and Partnerships at Guru, a knowledge management solution company. Before that, from 2021 to 2022, David worked in Strategic Finance at GitHub. David also has experience in investment banking, having worked as an Associate in Technology Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank from 2019 to 2021, and at KeyBanc Capital Markets from 2018 to 2019 as both an Associate and an Analyst. David's earlier experience includes an Analyst role at Pacific Crest Securities from 2015 to 2017 and various roles at Harvey & Company LLC, including Associate, Analyst, and Junior Analyst, from 2013 to 2015. Prior to their career in finance, David had internships at Marcus & Millichap and UBS in 2011, focusing on commercial real estate and wealth management respectively.

David Scharf completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business/Managerial Economics from UC Irvine in the years 2008-2012. Prior to that, they attended Scripps Ranch High School from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, David obtained certifications, including the Series 63 and Series 79, from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2016.
