Fernando Egea

Fernando Egea serves as the Global Vice President of AI GTM Strategy at Zendesk, where responsibility includes overseeing the go-to-market strategy for Zendesk AI and Talk. Previously, Egea held the position of Global Vice President at Talkdesk, leading both AI Specialized Sales and Value Consulting initiatives. Egea's experience encompasses significant roles at Genesys, focusing on strategic solutions and sales execution, as well as at Cisco Systems, where leadership in the Digital Transformation Group played a crucial role in enhancing business results for clients. Career beginnings were at Alcatel-Lucent, leading pre-sales support for key customers. Egea holds a B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications from FEI and pursued further education at USC Marshall School of Business.
