Juan Carlos Betancourt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Juan Carlos started their career at Proginet Corporation in 1997 as a Network Administrator and later became an IT Director. From 2001 to 2015, they worked at Mformation Software Technologies, where they held various positions, including Senior Systems Engineer, Senior Lead Analyst & Architecture Consultant, and Senior PreSales Manager. Juan Carlos also served as a member of the CTO Office Senior Staff and Director of Americas Deployment Engineering. Juan Carlos was later promoted to Director of Global Deployment Engineering and then Senior Director of Business Development Worldwide.

In 2015, Betancourt joined Nokia as a Senior Director of Business Development & LATAM Sales. Juan Carlos then took on roles such as IoT Business and Ecosystem Development & Global Sales Incubation Lead, IoT Vertical Solutions PLM & Strategic Solution Partnerships, and IoT Product Line Manager.

Juan Carlos Betancourt earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, which they attended from 1993 to 1997. In 2013, they pursued a Master's degree in International Business at Universidad EAFIT, completing it in 2014.
