Butch Mapa

Butch Mapa has extensive experience as a freelance artist in the comic book industry. Butch has worked for various comic book companies such as Z2 Comics, IDW/Marvel, IDW Publishing, Zenescope Entertainment, Checkmate Creative, Upper Deck Entertainment, and Top Shelf Comics. Butch started their freelance career in 2009 and has continued to work in this capacity, showcasing their artistic talent. Their most recent role has been with Z2 Comics since 2021, where they have worked as a freelance artist. Overall, Butch Mapa has developed a strong portfolio and expertise in their field through their work experience in various comic book companies.

Butch Mapa attended the University of the Philippines from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Managerial Economics.
