David Wohl

Editor In Chief at Zenescope Entertainment

David Wohl has extensive experience in the media and entertainment industry. David has held various key roles at top companies throughout their career. Wohl started their career at Marvel Entertainment, where they began as a High School intern and worked their way up to become an Editor. David then moved on to Top Cow Productions, where they served as President and Editor-in-Chief, overseeing the creation and development of new concepts for comic books and other media. During their time at Top Cow Productions, Wohl produced the TV show "Witchblade" for TNT.

Wohl later worked at Tiger Hill Games as Creative Director, where they developed concepts for videogames and films and collaborated with writers, artists, and game developers. David then joined Radical Publishing as Editor-in-Chief, responsible for the development and production of their comics and graphic novels. At Radical Publishing, Wohl led the sales team in creating innovative social media marketing strategies.

Wohl also worked at DC Comics as an Editorial Consultant and at Blizzard Entertainment as a Senior Editor in Publishing. David served as Senior Licensing Editor at becker&mayer! books, a division of the Quarto Group. Wohl's most recent positions include Senior Editor at Valiant Entertainment and Editor-in-Chief at Zenescope Entertainment.

In addition to their editorial and management roles, Wohl has also been involved in film production. David served as Vice President of Development & Production at Blockade Entertainment, where they successfully completed the production of CG-animated feature films based on Sony Playstation's popular video game franchises "Ratchet & Clank" and "Heavenly Sword."

David Wohl attended Hunter College High School from 1979 to 1985, where their field of study focused on English and history. From 1985 to 1993, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Pace University.
