Jason has experience with several startups, quickly building out product features. Jason has tried new roles and technologies at a few startups while searching for a company that they believed in. At Bazaarvoice, they began work on modularizing main components of the monolithic codebase using React. Jason also added the ability to disable device fingerprinting and automatically route PII depending on locale, added the ability to prevent duplicate loading and check computed styles to open sourced project, updated the build process to be more accurate and reliable, and fixed key bugs on one of the company's main product.

At Hootsuite, Jason was a Co-op Software Engineer from September 2016 to December 2016, and a Software Developer from June 2017 to June 2020.

Jason's experience as a Linux Developer at International Datacasting included developing software for set-top boxes and other devices running embedded Linux.

Jason Dippel has a Bachelor's of Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a certification from Baseball Canada as a Certified Level 1 Coach. Jason attended Forest Heights Collegiate Institute for their schooling.

They work with Mel Chua - Intermediate Frontend Engineer, Niall Lennon - Senior Front End Developer, and Leire Polo Martin - Engineering Manager. Jason Dippel reports to Ev Haus, Head of Engineering.
