Our Health team at Zeno London has been steadily growing over the last couple of years. We are looking for a junior level team member (JAE/AE/SAE) to join our team to support the existing accounts. This will be working across two of our major clients, for which we do some exciting work on women’s health and cervical cancer screening, and also France’s second largest independent health company who have an oncology portfolio. The work covers brand, patient advocacy, disease awareness, and clinical trial recruitment, all with strong digital elements. We are looking for a solid, reliable and pro-active individual to join our small but growing and enterprising team. There will be the opportunity to be involved in the broader agency, with exposure to all teams (Brand, Corporate Reputation, Digtial/Social and Technology) allowing you to strengthen your skills and understanding of the wider industry.

An Account Executive will demonstrate solid and well-rounded public relations skills, such as writing, media placement and client relationships. You will also be developing an understanding of market trends and issues as they affect client business. Your primary role is to activate an agreed programme, delivering media coverage and social results, build media and other contacts, and ensure coverage and activity is efficiently and accurately recorded and presented back to the client.

You are good at:

Workload Management

· Time management - prioritising your own workload to ensure you meet deadlines and objectives set by account managers and directors for each client - within the time allocated - and reporting to team members on progress. You will be given precise hours per month for each account that you work on · Working to activity plans - attending status meetings to ensure you understand client objectives and deadlines. Planning own work and meets all commitments against activity plans

Team Building

· Working with team - ensuring team involvement and communication at all times · Motivation - demonstrating energy and enthusiasm to ongoing workload and projects · Briefing/informing the team - taking briefs from client and communicating goals, guidelines, and deadlines to team. · Communicating with supervisors to ensure they are updated on work in progress and briefed when having difficulty achieving required results

Client Relations

· Client management - building solid relationships with assigned client contacts. Provide tactical counsel to all clients. Demonstrate a proactive stance with all assigned accounts by offering new ideas and new ways of generating success. · Market knowledge - actively working to create a good knowledge of current developments and trends affecting the clients' industries and markets. Actively work to track current developments and trends affecting the clients' industries and markets. Make sure you are able to use social media tools to track media, trends and topics and ensure timely and reactive replies for clients. · Analysing problems - anticipating and identifying problems relating to client work. Pre-empts issues that may arise and prepare to action appropriately

PR Skills

· Writing – you will have the ability to write in a range of styles including news releases, case studies, articles and proposals, buddy mails, fact sheets, opinion pieces, blog entries etc · Media liaison - dealing with day to day enquiries; acting professionally when meeting the press at exhibitions and client events; establishing and building relationships; ensuring copy is prepared, approved and submitted in line with deadlines; researching and writing copy for features; writing and following up photo-call notices; closing the loop with all press opportunities. Be aware of the difference of how bloggers and professional journalists operate in terms of codes of conduct, deadlines, engagement and copy/content requirements. · Media Knowledge: it’s important to have in-depth knowledge of the media, for your specific clients and in general. This should include national, trade and online. You must be proficient in using basic media tools such as twitter, Radian 6, Lexis Nexis, Gorkana etc to research and develop insight on journalists, bloggers and client competition. · Media pitching - selling in articles/features over the phone and finding new story angles where possible. Understand the role social media can play in how PR content is developed, creating a longer news tail to stories and for creating a thought leadership platform for your clients. · Quality standards - producing high standard of work at all times, paying attention to detail and removing the possibility of careless errors. You will also work to maintain all company quality standards continually looking for areas of improvement. · Presentation skills - learning basic presentation skills and taking an active role in presentations wherever possible

Industry and Market Knowledge

· Client market - maintaining a high understanding of client's business, new developments in the market/industry sector and use them to the client's advantage · Using technology - using software packages, the internet and research facilities to obtain relevant information. Understand trends in technology and media and how they impact the PR industry · Analysis and assimilation of current affairs - build general knowledge of the world as it impacts the client - gained through reading the nationals and keeping up to date on world affairs
