Christopher Loss began their career in 1999 as a Technical Support at Amazon.com. In 2004, they moved to McCann Erickson Taiwan, where they served as a Special Assistant to the CEO. In 2006, they joined TimeIPS, Inc. as a Systems Analyst, where they were responsible for Linux server administration, software installation, updates, system backups, proactive monitoring, repair, maintenance, and networking support for a highly flexible time and attendance tracking product. Christopher also provided tier three software support, training, and infrastructure integration for external customers, worked directly with developers, designed, implemented and tested new product features, and tracked bugs, committed fixes, troubleshot, reviewed code and submitted features. In 2011, they joined Zenoss, Inc. as a Staff Client Services Engineer.

Christopher Loss attended North Seattle Community College from 2001 to 2002, where they earned an I.T. Professional Program with classes in A+, Network+, Windows 2000, XP, Server, Unix, et al. Christopher then attended Kansas Newman University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a B.A. Liberal Arts in English. In 2019, they obtained two certifications from Coursera: Creating New BigQuery Datasets and Visualizing Insights, and Exploring & Preparing your Data with BigQuery.
