Stephan Grant

Stephan Grant has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Stephan is currently the Vice President of Discovery Biology at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Pfizer for over 20 years, holding various leadership and scientific roles in the Pharma R&D department. Stephan'srole as Senior Director involved managing a team of scientists and overseeing the drug discovery process, particularly in the field of cancer research. Stephan made significant contributions to the development of several cancer drugs and played a key role in the success of many of Pfizer's NMEs and oncology medicines. Before joining Pfizer, Stephan Grant worked at Merck as a Senior Research Fellow, where they headed the HTS Assay Development Group and was involved in the development of assays for drug discovery projects. Stephan also initiated projects for anti-inflammatory and antibacterial targets. Stephan'searlier experience includes a postdoctoral position at GSK. Overall, Stephan Grant's career demonstrates a strong track record in drug discovery and a passion for scientific excellence.

Stephan Grant received their B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island in 1983. Stephan then went on to earn a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Texas A&M University in 1989.
