Leslie Auld

Leslie Auld is a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Zentaris. Prior to their current position, Ms. Auld served as the CFO, Treasurer, and Director at GeneNews Limited from May 2010 to September 2018. GeneNews is a TSX-traded molecular diagnostic company focused on the application of functional genomics to enable early diagnosis and personalized health management. Ms. Auld was responsible for the financial management of the company and oversaw the development and commercialization of proprietary molecular diagnostic tests for early detection of diseases and for personalized health management, with a primary focus on cancer-related indications.

From July 2009 to April 2010, Ms. Auld worked as an independent consultant for senior finance positions. In June 2007, they became the CFO at Attwell Capital Inc. (formerly Fralex Therapeutics Inc.), where they worked until June 2009.

Ms. Auld has extensive experience in financial management and oversight, and has played a key role in the development and commercialization of innovative diagnostic tests that have had a positive impact on patient care.

Leslie Auld has a Bachelor of Science from Western University in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Leslie is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Accountant from CPA Canada. Lastly, they have a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management.
