Elizabeth Balga

Elizabeth Balga is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in aerospace and systems engineering. Currently, Elizabeth serves as a Sierra / NASA Officer in Training for Dream Chaser Flight Operations at Sierra Space and holds the position of Human Integration Lead for Space Destinations. Previous roles include various positions at Zero Gravity Corporation as part of the Parabolic Flight Crew and numerous engineering roles at Boeing, where Elizabeth specialized in crew and mission systems integration for the CST-100 Starliner. Elizabeth has also contributed to health and safety operations in the MDRS Crew and has experience in acoustics and dynamics analysis through internships. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, alongside several relevant certificates in emergency medical technology and engineering disciplines.
