Head of Product at Zero

Lucy Arnold is the head of product at Zero, a grocery delivery startup. Lucy joined the company in September 2020 and has conducted research and compiled datasets for upcoming papers, books, and lectures by Brookings Fellows and Senior Fellows. Prior to joining Zero, Lucy was a product manager at HubHaus, a coliving/cohousing startup with markets in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. Lucy was responsible for coaching the engineering & design team to a full transition to Scrum, owning the documentation, training, evangelism, and all sprint planning, estimation, and retrospective meetings. Lucy also worked closely with Legal, Finance, Growth, and Operations departments to discover and validate business challenges, document workflows, and build light-weight but powerful internal tools. In their role at HubHaus, Lucy led the requirements gathering, documentation, planning, and launch of three major tracking tools that allowed each department to improve operational efficiency without increasing headcount during a planned scale-up. Lucy also owned the adoption of a user story framework for product definition and release planning and led related cross-functional team workshops.

Lucy Arnold has a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from UCL School of Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Government and English from Cornell University, and an MBA from Phillips Academy (Andover). Lucy also has an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. Lucy is certified by HubSpot in Email Marketing and Inbound Marketing, and by the Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Product Owner.
