Anne Katrine Bjerregaard

Anne Katrine Bjerregaard serves as the Head of Strategy, Sustainability & ESG at Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping since November 2020, focusing on decarbonization and sustainable development in the shipping industry. Prior roles include ESG Strategy Lead and Head of Center Ramp-up at the same organization, where responsibilities included establishing key governance structures and strategic initiatives. Previously, Anne was a Senior Innovation Portfolio Manager at A.P. Moller - Maersk, emphasizing sustainable shipping innovations, and the Head of Green Ship of the Future, promoting a greener maritime industry through collaboration and technology exploration. Early career experience includes project management at the Maritime Development Centre of Europe and intern roles at the Royal Danish Embassy in Australia. Anne holds an Executive MBA from DTU and extensive educational credentials from UC Berkeley and Copenhagen Business School.
