Melissa Anthony

Melissa Anthony has over 12 years of experience in the Human Resources and Marketing fields. Melissa began their career in 2008 as a Marketing Coordinator at Playwrights Canada Press. From 2011 to 2018, they held various roles at Harlequin, including Assistant Product Manager, TEEN and Library Marketing, Brand & Product Manager, Carina Press, and Assistant Product Manager, Core Business. In 2018, Melissa joined integrate.ai as a Candidate Success Coordinator and Assistant. In 2020, they moved to BlueCat as a Human Resources Coordinator, responsible for delivering an exceptional employee experience and internal communication. Currently, Melissa is a Senior People Experience at ZestyAI.

Melissa Anthony began their educational journey in 2005 when they attended McMaster University, where they earned a BA in English Literature in 2008. Melissa then attended Humber College and obtained a Certificate in Creative Book Publishing Program in 2008. In 2009, Melissa obtained a Certificate in Copyediting and Writing from Simon Fraser University. In 2010, they returned to Humber College and earned a Certificate in Strategic Marketing. Additionally, Melissa obtained a Mental Health First Aid Certification from the Mental Health Commission of Canada in November 2021.
