Arthur Câmara

Arthur Câmara has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Arthur has worked as a Research Engineer at Zeta Alpha since June 2023. Prior to that, they were a PhD Researcher at Delft University of Technology starting from November 2018.

During their career, Arthur also gained experience as a Research Scientist Intern at NAVER LABS Europe from July 2022 to October 2022. Arthur worked as an AI Research Intern at Bloomberg LP from September 2020 to January 2021.

Before their research roles, Arthur held positions as a Lead Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer at dti digital from February 2018 to November 2018. Prior to that, they were a Lead Data Scientist at Mediar (formerly IDXP Analytics) from May 2016 to February 2018, where they developed and implemented analytics metrics for world-class companies and solved real-world problems using Machine Learning techniques.

Arthur's early experience includes working as a Co-Founder at Kapputo from November 2012 to October 2015, where they worked as an iOS/Rails developer and data scientist. Arthur also had roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Departamento de Ciência da Computação - UFMG from September 2011 to September 2015, and an Internship - Web Development at the same institution from August 2011 to September 2012. Furthermore, they had internships as a Game Developer at Jogability Studios from November 2010 to August 2011 and at Centro de Experimentação e Pesquisa em Sistemas Muldimodais - FRMFA from November 2010 to July 2011.

Arthur Câmara's education journey began in 2010 when they enrolled at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Arthur successfully completed the program in 2015. In 2012, Arthur briefly attended B.I. International, where they completed the Global Talent program focused on Innovation and entrepreneurship.

In 2016, Arthur continued their education at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, undertaking a Master's degree in Computer Science. Arthur completed this program in 2018. During this time, they also obtained a certification in TOEIC (990/990) from the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in July 2018.

Following their Master's degree, Arthur went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Delft University of Technology. Arthur began this program in 2018 and is expected to complete it in 2023. Their field of study for the PhD is Computer Science.
