Gábor Braun

Gábor Braun is currently the CTO at Zeto. Gábor has previously worked as a software architect for Nordnet AB, DoneKey Ltd., and eQ Bank.

At Nordnet AB, Gábor was responsible for system integration between the stock trading back-end and a new stock trading front-end. Gábor was also the database architect and system architect, and they helped develop a trading client application and a master trading instrument database.

At eQ Bank, Gábor dramatically improved the speed of the legacy online stock trading platform, making it processing trades 100 times faster and orders 15 times faster. Gábor also designed and created a new stock trading platform from scratch. This new platform supported multiple markets, countries, currencies, risk management, commission calculations, and order routing (in and out). Since the system was taken into use, it has handled a few millions of orders. Gábor also implemented FIX connectivity engines towards Goldmann Sachs and Bloomberg for sending and receiving orders. In addition, they implemented management and user interfaces for the trading platform. Finally, they performed system integration tasks with CRM, banking, portfolio handling systems.

Gábor Braun completed a BSc in Embedded and real-time systems at Kando Kalman Polytechnic of Technology.

Gábor Braun reports to Aswin Gunasekar, Founder & CEO. Some direct reports include János Barta - Software Developer, Krisztián Horvat - Chemical Engineer, and Ferenc Benedek - Electrical Engineer. They work with John Crawford - Associate Director of Customer Success, Florian Strelzyk - Chief Sales Officer, and Zoltán Nádasdy - Principal Neuroscientist.
