Omprakash Makam

Omprakash Makam has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Omprakash is currently a Board Observer at Ziraaf starting from December 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of International Business Expansion at ZETWERK since April 2022.

From 2015 to 2022, Omprakash worked at PDS Limited as the Group COO, and before that from 2012 to 2022, they held the same role. Additionally, they served as the Group Chief Financial Officer from 2009 to 2015.

Before joining PDS Limited, Omprakash worked at Levi Strauss & Co. as the Finance Director from 1996 to 2008. Omprakash also served as the Head of Finance at EchoStar Corporation in 1995 and as an Assistant Vice President - Operations at Indsec Securities & Broking from 1993 to 1995.

Omprakash's career started at Microland Limited in 1992 as a Senior Finance Executive. Overall, they possess a strong background in finance, operations, and leadership roles within various organizations.

Omprakash Makam attended Vidya Mandir High School from 1972 to 1983, where they completed their high school education. Omprakash then attended Bangalore University from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Makam further pursued their studies at the Institute of Cost Accountants of India from an unknown start year to 1991. Finally, they completed their education at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, obtaining the FCA degree in 1992.
