Anil Ippalapelli

Anil Ippalapelli is an experienced purchasing manager with a strong background in global steel sourcing and indirect material procurement. Currently serving as the Senior Purchasing Manager for Global Steel at ZF TRW Automotive since January 2009, Anil oversees an annual spend of $500 million. Anil's previous roles include Global Purchasing Manager for Indirect and Steel & Iron at Federal Mogul, managing annual spends of $300 million and $260 million, respectively. Anil also worked at Visteon Corporation as a Purchasing Specialist for Raw Materials, handling an annual spend of $195 million, and began in the industry at Ford Motor Company as a Design & Release Engineer. Anil holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University.
