Ingo Alfter

Ingo Alfter, Dr. serves as the Head of Customer Product Platform Software at ZF Group, having joined the company in October 1999. With extensive experience in braking software and systems engineering, Ingo has held multiple leadership roles, including Chief Engineer for Global Braking Software and Chief Engineer for Global Systems Engineering & Systems Design. Ingo's expertise encompasses system requirements, architecture, functional design, and project management, particularly in relation to slip control systems and electrical park brakes. Prior to ZF Group, Ingo worked at Continental as a Systementwickler focusing on real-time operating systems for vehicle dynamics and held post-doctoral research positions at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Ingo holds a doctorate in Physics from The University of Bonn, highlighting a strong educational background in the field of physics.
