Magiel van der Meer

Magiel van der Meer is a seasoned professional in the field of information security and network engineering, currently serving as a Zelfstandig ondernemer at The Future Group since May 2023. Magiel holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Ziekenhuis Amstelland since August 2021 and has previously worked as an Information Security Officer at Holland Casino from May 2023 to July 2024. Prior to these roles, Magiel was a Senior Manager at Deloitte from January 2021 to August 2021 and held various positions at Deloitte Canada between November 2014 and October 2020, including Manager and Senior Consultant. Earlier in career, Magiel gained experience as a Network and System Engineer at Zetacom from 2012 to 2013. Educationally, Magiel earned a Master of Science in System and Network Engineering from the University of Amsterdam in 2014 and holds two Bachelor of Applied Science degrees from Zuyd Hogeschool, one in Network and System Administration/Administrator and another in Network and Infrastructure Design, both completed in 2012.
