Rubén Martínez

Rubén Martínez has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Rubén is currently the Founder of La City, a position they have held since April 2021. Additionally, they are a Fund Manager at both Zignaly and Darwinex, starting in February 2022 and October 2022 respectively.

Prior to their current roles, Rubén served as a Professor at IEBS Business School from July 2019 to May 2020, teaching finance. Rubén also held the position of Finance Professor at INESEM Business School from an unspecified start date until July 2019.

Earlier in their career, Rubén worked in Project Management at Service Innovation Group UK from 2008 to 2012. Rubén gained experience as a Contable en prácticas (Accounting Intern) at Caja Rural de Granada in 2011.

Rubén Martínez completed a Data Science Specialization program at The Johns Hopkins University in 2016. From 2005 to 2011, they attended Universidad de Granada and obtained a degree in Economics. In 2015 to 2016, they pursued further education in quantitative analysis at Ocean Quant Management. Additionally, Rubén Martínez received certifications in Options and Futures Trading (Licencias de Operador de Opciones y Futuros I, II y III) from Instituto BME in 2012.
