Tyson Johnson

Tyson Johnson has extensive work experience in various industries. Tyson started their career at Avis Rental Car and Avis Budget Group as a Service Agent, where they maintained excellent customer service and ensured clean and satisfactory vehicles. Tyson then worked as an Assistant Football Coach at Northside Middle School, where they mentored and instilled values in young athletes.

Later, Tyson joined UBS Financial Services as a Student Intern, gaining industry experience. Tyson then joined Bank of America, initially serving as a Customer Relationship Manager and later as a Senior Account Manager. In these roles, they collected documentation, assisted customers with loan modifications and liquidation options, and utilized software such as Salesforce and Microsoft Excel.

Tyson then joined Cintas as a Management Trainee, supervising a team and exceeding sales and service goals. At Norfolk Southern, they served as a Manager of Revenue Waybilling, overseeing work distribution, analyzing reports, and collaborating with marketing and other railroads.

Currently, Tyson holds a position at ZIM Integrated Shipping Services as the Vice President of Process Excellence. Tyson previously served as the Director of Finance for Detention & Demurrage Billing, successfully reducing backlogs, automating processes, and enhancing invoice accuracy. Overall, Tyson Johnson has a well-rounded work experience with a focus on finance, operations, and management roles.

Tyson Johnson received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance from American InterContinental University, which they completed between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Public Administration from Old Dominion University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. During their time at Old Dominion, they also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science Business Administration with a concentration in Management.
