Markland Benson is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity sales with extensive experience in serving defense and intelligence sectors. Currently, Markland holds the position of Defense & Intelligence Cybersecurity Sales Lead at ZIMPERIUM since December 2021, specializing in mobile device and application security. Prior to ZIMPERIUM, Markland worked at Fidelis Cybersecurity, focusing on sales to the Navy and Marine Corps. Additional experience includes roles at Splunk, Veritas Technologies, Threatstream, Q1 Labs, Adobe Systems, LogicalApps, Opsware, and Peregrine Systems, effectively driving sales of various cybersecurity and IT solutions. Markland possesses a Master of Science in Information Systems Management from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Mary Washington.
